A Persian Supper Club by the Sea
For one evening, Konj brings an intimate Persian supper club to The Tower Portobello, where candlelight, conversation, and the rich flavours of Persian cuisine come together beside the sea.

Modern Persian dining, storytelling, warmth, and contemporary hospitality.
Guests will be welcomed by The Tower owners, Tom and Zahra, into one of Scotland’s most atmospheric and historic seaside venue before gathering around a shared table.
Guests will enjoy an exclusive eight-course secret menu created by Faranak, owner and patron chef of Konj Café Edinburgh. Inspired by the atmosphere of Persian homes and long shared meals, the evening has been designed to feel immersive, generous, and deeply personal.
Throughout the night
Dishes will be plated and finished in front of guests, allowing the aromas of saffron, herbs, warm spices, and slow-cooked flavours to unfold naturally around the table.

The oldest building in Portobello
Originally built in 1785, The Tower is the oldest building in Portobello, a historic seaside landmark once home to celebrated Edwardian illusionist Harry Marvello, a close associate of Houdini. Today, the privately restored venue hosts intimate gatherings and creative experiences unlike anywhere else in Edinburgh.

This is a slow evening designed to be savoured, shared, and remembered.
More than a supper club, this is a shared table, a meeting of cultures, and an evening shaped by flavour, atmosphere, and human connection.
